As a childfree person, or as a parent, or as an individual who is undecided on your own reproductive choice, what's the one thing you want "the other side" to know about "your side"?
For instance, I want other people to know that many of us, as parents, are just as horrified at the public antics of ill-behaved children as they are. I am extremely irritated by what I call "swatting at gnats": when parents lackadaisically attempt to correct their children's behavior, but don't make certain that the correction is effective. I expect that, with little ones, it's going to take some time, and it isn't always going to be effective immediately---but if your child is past kindergarten age and is simply ignoring your correction, DO something about it, for Pete's sake! Argh!
EDIT: Looks like you've got some interesting responses over in cf_hardcore. I wonder if we should also hit up realisticparent.
EDIT #2: I put up a similar post on realisticparent.
EDIT #3: I thought that this would be obvious, but apparently I need to spell it out. If any denizens of either cf_hardcore or realisticparent have some personal issues with comments on the "opposite" community's post, please LEAVE IT IN YOUR OWN COMMUNITY, and thank you.
